Our Board Members

The Georgia Mountain Pregnancy Center is blessed with a dedicated team of board members and staff who bring diverse skills, deep faith, and compassionate hearts to the mission of serving women and families. Our board includes leaders with backgrounds in business, healthcare, ministry, education, and community service—all united by a shared commitment to protecting life and sharing the hope of Christ.

Board Chairman Louis Davis and founding member Kathy Davis have faithfully served since the center’s beginning in 2016, providing vision and leadership grounded in their years of experience in pregnancy help ministry and global missions. Treasurer Ivan Walker, a longtime community leader and mentor, brings financial expertise and a deep personal passion for the sanctity of life. Joanne Miner, Carolyn Lee Harris, Kathy Johnson, and Cynthia “Cindy” Jenkins each contribute unique gifts—ranging from healthcare, missionary work, and trauma counseling to business management, graphic design, and church ministry. Together, they prayerfully guide GMPC with wisdom and compassion.

Our Executive Director and Nurse Manager, Madison Anderson, leads the center’s daily operations with both professional nursing knowledge and a personal understanding of the challenges many clients face. She is supported by Viktoria Bruce, Client Services Manager, whose heart for women and families creates a safe and welcoming space for every person who walks through our doors.

As a team, we are united in our belief that every life is precious and worthy of love. Through prayer, service, and steadfast dedication, we work together to ensure GMPC continues to be a place of hope, healing, and life-affirming care for our community.

Lou Davis, Board Chairman

  • Louis F. Davis, Jr. has served as Chairman of the GMPC Board since 2016. After a 22-year career as a Software Engineer with IBM, Louis retired in 2000 and went on to found Kaloua Enterprises, LLC, which owns the building where GMPC is located. He played a key role in starting the pregnancy center in 2016 and continues to guide its mission with wisdom and dedication. Beyond GMPC, Louis has been active in global missions, serving in Mexico, Guatemala, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Tanzania, and Kurdistan between 2001 and 2022. At his home church, House of Prayer in Blairsville, he has served on the Missions Committee and is part of the church security team. Louis is passionate about ensuring GMPC is as effective as possible in reaching women with unplanned pregnancies, sharing the love of Christ with them and their unborn children, and encouraging life-affirming choices. His background in management, finance, and IT provides strong leadership for the board. He and his wife, Kathy, are blessed with two children and two grandchildren.
  • Favorite Scripture: I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the lifewhich I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Galatians 2:20

Ivan Walker, Board Treasurer

  • Ivan Walker serves as Treasurer on the GMPC Board, bringing in more than 35 years of experience in corporate accounting, operations, and consulting with organizations ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small, privately held businesses. Ivan’s heart for the unborn and their families is deeply personal. His mother’s story of miscarriage and his own loss of a daughter at just nine months old left a lasting imprint on his conviction that every life is precious. “If my service—and the collective work of our board—can help save even one unborn child, then every effort is more than worth it,” Ivan shares.
